The hotel seeks to be authentic and sporty, it offers a distinctive atmosphere, excellent food and wine, as well as a vast range of activities for sporty Norwegians and foreigners. The hotel holds 38 bedrooms and the guesthouse from 1689 function as the core of the building. Tørvis has been extended several times after the Second World War and now includes a side and back wing as well as a side building on the hill behind the hotel.
